IF YOU HAVE BAD CREDIT THIS IS THE RIGHT COMPANY BUT IF YOU HAVE LIFE PROBLEMS AND NEED THERE HELP SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR CAR
I brought my 2012 Malibu in 2013 and really was blessed but to be able to get it. OVER TIME, I began to run into major health issues and fail behind s few times BUT I always caught up.
Over the last couple of years I have gotten really sick and became disabled and notified Tidewater. Here it is 2020 illnesses has taken over my life feel behind but continued to make payments as much as I could to make it to tax time to catch up. But January 15 I became extremely Ill to the point where I'm fighting for my life when my wife was coming back to hospital to comfort me but noticed the car was gone. So factor in made a payment in October and November getting ready to send another payment.
Called and was told I had to pay recovery fee back payments and storage fee. 2300.00, but they may not accept the payment and may want the payoff amount.
So here I am dying in hospital but made to feel like crap. Thank you, Tidewater, for a great 6 years you have made me wish to die to get a way from this crooked world.

They truly suck. Customer service is trained to act like they don't understand anything.
You know dumb as dirt.
I was so happy to get away from these cheats. Hope that you get better and get rid of them.

Same thing happened to me. My account shows as closed and written off in a BK on my credit reports....that I did not file after I bought the car.
The BK was BEFORE I even purchased the car. I tried to correct it and they told me not to worry and just keep paying it.

I have paid more than a year ove my contract and still owe more than half.
I have late payments that added 1800 but it does not add up to 14,000. Did you ever get a resolution?
